My roommate and dear friend Jennifer June gave me a copy of Delta Spirit's History From Below on vinyl. She was so certain I was going to love it, she said it's the kind of album that can bring you to tears, and she was right. I've been listening to it over and over again, wanting to hold onto that feeling of perfect melancholy. This live version of "Bushwick Blues" is almost too much...

ReplyDeleteYou never cease to amaze me! Thanks for introducing me to Delta Spirit. I have listened to them over and over. Their songs are addicting...I think it's the heart they touch, has nothing to do with age!
